President/Founder

Ben Nigrin is an avid Boston sports fan, having been born in the city of “dirty water,” and enjoys keeping up with U.S. politics. Ben founded Bipartisan Disagreement to repair the broken national discussion and create a space where ideas, not labels, matter most.

Risk Manager

Jack Fink is the Risk Manager for BD Emory Law. Jack joined BD to help create dialogue on important issues in a thoughtful and respectful environment. He is committed to fostering discussion that leads people to seek to understand each other and build mutual respect.

Treasurer

Kevin Kraef is the treasurer for BD Emory law and responsible for the raising of funds and management of the budget for the chapter. Kevin is a 2L with a strong interest in intellectual property law, international law, and business technology law. He is firmly committed to the idea that difficult discussions and disagreements are a fundamental need for compromise, a cornerstone for healthy democracies

VP of External Affairs

Lauren Marie Kramer is a proud Minnesotan who cares deeply about respectful dialogue and finding common ground. She believes that disagreement can be a force for good and is always up for a thoughtful conversation, especially about theology, climate change, or pop culture.

VP of Internal Affairs

Nandhini Kathiravan is a rising 2L at Emory Law, originally from Jacksonville, FL. She majored in Biochemistry and minored in Dance at the University of Virginia, and continues to dance on Emory Karma Bhangra in law school. She joined BD because of the appeal of a third space – somewhere to simply exist and build community, without the pressure of a commitment, whether financial or otherwise.

Social Chair

Vanessa Crespo was born in Venezuela but her hometown is now Katy, Texas. She decided to pursue a JD because of her interest in international human rights and Latin American government. She loves to watch movies and paint in her free time.
